This workshop will give participants a change to get closer to the transformative element, fire. First we will learn a group stick dance building trust as a group then we will add a chant, to synchronize the group. The final step is to light our sticks on fire and put it all together!
It is best if participants wear natural fibre clothing and sleeves that will not interfere with the fire, bring your phones to capture your awesomeness!
NB – If you are signed up to this workshop and would like to be part of the twenty people who perform it at the closing ceremony, then please sign up to the Rehearsal for Sacred Fire Stick Dance Performance Workshop. It a £5 deposit and will be refunded after the festival or you are welcome for it to be donated to TreeSisters.
Rad Rachel is a one-woman fire diva. She performs with fire, tends fire, teaches people to walk on fire, and has fun with fire.
