Come and join with two fabulous Emma’s and get some me time on the water in this incredibly stunning setting. Perfect to regroup and refresh ready for your next workshops
Stand Up Paddle boarding is popular, and we have a stunning spot for a fun experience. Tuition is provided by our two amazing, qualified instructors who’ll get you standing up and paddling in no time.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked time in the appropriate clothing and footwear for the session.
Delivery of sessions
- Each session will be 45 minutes in length. This includes a 10 minute safety briefing, questions, setting up of paddles for each participants individual height and an introduction to wearing buoyancy aids (BA’s) correctly.
- Each session on the water includes an introduction to some of the paddle strokes we use, how to stand up and how to fall correctly.
- Participants will be split into two groups of five and each group will be supported by one lead.
Participants to bring suitable clothing for being on the water. These include,
Synthetic leggings & top.
or
Wetsuits (full or shorties)
or
Neoprene leggings & synthetic top
Sun hat
Change of warm clothes for after session & a woolly hat (a woolly hat is great just in case you feel the cold).
Towel
Sun cream
Drink (warm or cold)
Cagoul – lightweight (great bit of additional kit if raining or there is a cool breeze)
Snack
Any medication required
Footwear
Old trainers or wetshoes are great!
Please note no bare feet, this is for health and safety reasons – toes are susceptible to injury without adequate protection.
Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres to take part and be happy on a natural lake.
Under 18yrs must be always accompanied by a responsible adult on the water.
