Storytelling can be a great tool in helping us to connect not only to those around us but ourselves. In this ‘Writing Creatively for Connection’ workshop, we will use a variety of fun writing exercises to help us connect to our inner wisdom in a way that will enhance our overall wellbeing. Suitable for beginners. Pens and paper provided but feel free to bring your own.

Mahsuda Snaith is a novelist and short story writer who has taught creative writing in a variety of settings. Her debut novel ‘The Things We Thought We Knew’ was a World Book Night Book 2019 and her second novel ‘How to Find Home’ was read on BBC Radio 4. She is a commissioned writer for the ‘Colonial Countryside’ project and her short story ‘The Panther’s Tale’ is included in ‘Hag: Forgotten Folktales Retold’ which used a mix of English and Bangladeshi folktale to retell a lost legend from the Midlands.
