This painting I created is really personal piece to me. We have experienced multiple pregnancy losses, and fertility issues. And society can often make you feel like less of a woman if you can’t carry to term, or get pregnant.
So everytime I’ve been pregnant, I’ve been trying to view it as a time of strength and empowerment (at least in the long run). Despite the pain and stress of loss being so intense.
I think it’s amazing and magical that women can go through so much, and still prevail at the end, often without others knowing what they have been through.
